Sea Trek

The Avalon is two weeks into a three week voyage around the Bahamas with a boat full of kids from Sea Trek.  So far we’ve explored Eleuthera, Little San Sal, Cat Island, Staniel, Highbourne, Norman’s and  Allen’s Cays.  We’re now in Nassau taking a break from the wind and rain of Tropical Storm Bonnie and then we’ll head back out!

Congrats Mark and Tanya!

Returning passengers and longtime friends Mark and Tanya tied the knot on the bow of the Avalon last night.  It was a beautiful evening and a nice sail and we were thrilled to be a part of your special day.

Thanks and Congratulations Mr and Mrs Johnson!

The All Women’s Trip was invaded by a few men this year… but we still managed to have a great time. Bimini will never be the same….

The Avalon traveled to Walkers Cay this week with a crazy group of veteran Lost Island divers… the water was a little rough but the beaches were gorgeous and the laughter was contagious!

It was an epic two weeks on the Avalon in the Exumas.  We fed swimming pigs, pet sea turtles, swam with the sharks, caught 7 big mahi, sailed, danced, and laughed our way through the islands. Special thanks to all of our great passengers for making these last two weeks so much fun!  This week, the Avalon heads to Freeport, Grand Bahama.

SUMMERTIME!

The Avalon leaves Nassau today for the Exumas on our first trip of the summer.  We had a great crossing yesterday from Miami… calm seas, blue skies, and a 130 pound yellowfin tuna!  It’s wonderful to be back and we’re looking forward to a great week.
